Elizabeth Leggett | Portico Arts picture of woman in a white dress holding a wasp nest. This is for the 2018 month of fear prompt blindness
One of the prompts for 2018's Month of Fear was blindness.  I wanted to show what our mind's eye might interpret an item to be.
Dried flowers and dried wasps nests have the same sound when you touch them as well as similar weights and textures.  Not being able to see the danger is a bit of a chill for the season!

"Painting is a blind man's profession.  An artist does not paint what he sees, but what he feels and  what he tells himself about what he has seen."
