My grandmother would take me to Williamsburg fairly regularly and sometimes we would play tourist and go to the governor's palace in the historic district. There is an amazing boxwood maze there. When it was overcast, the maze took on a mysterious and slightly sinister mood. I would often "see" faces in the leaves. I think the Cheshire Cat would have been right at home there!

" “But I don’t want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."
"How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn’t have come here.”."
