We will endeavor to ship within 2-5 business days from the date of payment. While we anticipate that most orders will be in the mail sooner than this, some of our items are print-on-demand and may take a bit longer. There may also be times when we are at a show and will not be able to fulfill orders immediately. You will be informed as soon as possible if there is any delay that would cause your order to shipped outside of the above window.
Once placed within the postal system, you will be contacted within 24 hours with the tracking number.
Some of our special pieces are printed using metal sublimation. Due to the nature of this process and expense involved we normally print them on demand. This can take anywhere from 2-5 weeks from printing to delivery. We will note this specifically on any piece we offer in this format.
United States shipping
For open edition prints (usually our 8x10 and 12x18s) this may require us to place multiple prints in a single mailer. Limited edition prints will always be mailed in an individual mailer.
USPS Priority comes with tracking and insurance.
If you wish to use another shipping option such as overnight, additional insurance, signature confirmation et al or would like to use other carriers such as UPS or Fed-Ex, please contact us before hand. We will be happy to work with you to come up with a solution to try and meet your needs.
Shipping is a flat rate of $21.80 for any order up to $120.00 USD and free for any order over this amount. Items will be sent via USPS First-Class Package International Service. Certificate of Mailing and Electronic USPS Deliver Confirmation International is included in this fee.
If you wish other services such as Registered Mail or Priority International, please contact us beforehand.
Other International shipping
We welcome international orders but due to the variety of options available we ask that you contact us before hand so we can work out the best possible option for you.
When shipping overseas, customs can delay packages by up to 6 weeks. This doesn't happen often, but it can happen.
We offer what we hope is a risk free and friendly return policy - if for whatever reason you would like to return your item within the first 30 days after your purchase, just send it back.
Drop us a line beforehand and we'll provide the return postage label. Once the item(s) have been returned we'll offer an exchange for equal value or simply credit back your account, as you prefer.
The certificates of authenticity that accompany the limited edition prints will need to be returned as well and we do ask that you use the original packaging wherever possible.
If the item was damaged during shipping it would be very helpful if you could provide photos of the item. This is not a requirement for a return but it will greatly help us in dealing with the postal service on filling our claim.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary, though we anticipate the usual 2-3 shipping days for USPS Priority.
New Mexico Sales Tax
We charge 5.125% (State) plus potentially an additional 0.375% to 3.5625% (County and/or /Municipal) sales tax on all orders shipped in New Mexico, depending on your zip code.
Artist Signing Policy
All prints are automatically autographed by the author, unless you specify otherwise.
Tarot decks and books are not autographed by default. If you would like Beth to do so please let us know. We will need to break the seal on the deck to autograph it, however.
Additional Policies and FAQs
If you're purchasing a Portico Arts item as a gift, a hand written note can be included at no extra cost. Please use either the "About The Artist" link or by using the "Special instructions for seller" field in the shopping cart and inform us of the occasion, shipping address, and personal message to be included in the package.
