Light Bringer (2018 Muse)

This year has been hard for so many of us.  Fires, hurricanes, and massive political unrest has left many feeling like the light might never return.  I felt that we needed a reminder that the world is a cycle and dawn will truly come.

This piece is also a homage to all of the new house of representative women that will stand for us and give us hope. I for one feel so much better because there is a chance for change.  I wanted this piece to show them all as warriors pulling the light back into the world and cutting through the darkness.  I know that I am an idealist and I am quite okay with that.  Hope is working and for that, I am so very grateful!
