Banshee

Banshee

In Irish folklore, a banshee is a spirit in the form of a wailing woman who's blood-curdling scream is heard by members of a family as a sign that one of them is about to die violently. This piece was part of a collection requested by a very dear Friend.  She wanted to challenge me.  How do you illustrate a creepy, creepy sound that is an omen of death?  I like to think this piece does just that!

This piece is available for licensing.

"We are the fools of Time and Terror: Days
Steal on us, and steal from us; yet we live,
Loathing our life, and dreading still to die."
- Lord Byron
