Give us birds in flight, Miracle Man. Give us flights of fancy! The big tent show is just about to begin!
Every year, driven by superstition I suppose, I do a portrait of my Muse. (S)he is never the same two years in a row. This is the first year (s)he wished to be seen in a male aspect. I find it fitting and well overdue.
I am also a huge fan of vintage Ray Bradbury. In the back of my mind, I was thinking about the lightning rod salesman in Something Wicked This Way Comes while working on this. I wondered if he ever just got tired of gloom and doom and simply wanted to bring wonder?
By tradition, each year's muse is limited to a print run of 30. This year we are splitting up the run between two mediums.

“Well, what tongue does the wind talk? What nationality is a storm? What country do rains come from? What color is lightning? Where does thunder go when it dies?”
